Dear Patrons,

For more than 35 Years, Playhouse Stage Company has been committed to ensuring that the live theatre arts are for everyone in our Capital Region community. We achieve this mission by offering free admission to our annual summer musicals at Park Playhouse, in Albany’s Washington Park, and free rush tickets and affordable pricing for our productions at Cohoes Music Hall. We can’t make this happen without the support of our community!

To be sure, we faced significant challenges this summer, and we need your help as we turn the page from our 36th Season to our 37th. Not only were our production expenses more costly than ever, but corporate sponsorship for our programs was down significantly this season. We also faced serious weather challenges from extended periods of high heat, storm damage to our scenery and equipment, and rain cancellations. Despite these challenges, we persevered and were proud to serve tens of thousands of Capital Region residents and guests at our venues, and hundreds of students in our youth arts programs.

Remember, Playhouse Stage Company is not a municipally funded service! It is up to the community to maintain our annual free theatre and arts education programs in the Capital Region! As we transition from one season to another, support from individuals in the community who believe in what we do is absolutely vital!
